Staff Accountant - General Accounting

The Staff Accountant will support day-to-day accounting functions including account reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance. This role will also contribute to month-end close processes and assist with various financial projects and reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations

• Prepare and post journal entries

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes

• Prepare data for sales tax filings

• Handle customer invoicing and support collections efforts

• Calculate commissions and support job/project costing

• Respond to internal and external audit requests

• Provide variance analysis and reporting support

• Participate in system integrations and process improvement initiatives

• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Controller or Finance Leadership

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

• Prior experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics GP, Infor M3) is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

• Solid Excel skills and comfort working with financial data
