Staff Accountant - General Accounting
The Staff Accountant will support day-to-day accounting functions including account reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance. This role will also contribute to month-end close processes and assist with various financial projects and reporting needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare and post journal entries
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
Support budgeting and forecasting processes
Prepare data for sales tax filings
Handle customer invoicing and support collections efforts
Calculate commissions and support job/project costing
Respond to internal and external audit requests
Provide variance analysis and reporting support
Participate in system integrations and process improvement initiatives
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Controller or Finance Leadership
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Prior experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics GP, Infor M3) is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Solid Excel skills and comfort working with financial data
